Value in Healthcare – Mobilizing cooperation for health system transformation

Value-based healthcare is rising as a strategy to answer the contemporary challenges health systems face, such as fastly rising costs . Increased levels of cooperation and alignment are necessary to make this vision a reality. Three mechanisms are outlined in the report to achieve this goal. Firstly, new models for multi stakeholder cooperation, secondly new standards for people-centred health informatics systems and lastly, new directions for leadership that delivers value in a sustainable, innovative and equitable manner.
